The Curry family has been making waves in basketball for years with two active players. One of them, Seth Curry, is a promising basketball player who has competed professionally at different clubs in the lower and top division of the National Basketball Association. Seth Curry’s Professional Career Began At Santa Cruz Warriors

Seth Curry began his long-running professional career at the NBA D-League team, Santa Cruz Warriors, twenty-two years after he was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. He joined the team after he went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft despite a modestly successful college career at Duke and Liberty University.

Before joined the Santa Cruz Warriors, he spent his preseason with his brother’s team, the Golden State Warriors. Failing to impress after six preseason games, he was acquired by the NBA Development League team.

In-between his time at the D-league Warriors, Seth had impressed enough to secure a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies in December 2013. However, he only managed to play one game for the Grizzlies, making his NBA debut before the team waived and sent him back to the Warriors.

After a few weeks with the Warriors, he signed another short-term deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 10-day contract got him to play his second ever NBA game which was against the Houston Rockets. After the expiration of the agreement, he returned to the Warriors and finished the 2013-14 season in the D-leagues.

Seth Curry ended up playing a total of 38 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors, starting 37 of them with an average of 19.7 points per game. A Second Stint In The NBA D-Leagues With Erie BayHawks Prepared him For The Topflight

Seth Curry got the second year in a pro league at Orlando Magic affiliated Erie BayHawks. After he left Santa Cruz Warriors, he joined the Orlando Magic for the Orlando Summer League. Although Seth also played for the Phoenix Suns at the Las Vegas Summer League, he returned to Orlando. At the end of the season, he joined the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2015 NBA Summer League. In recognition of his growth, the Sacramento Kings signed him to a two-year $2 million deal. His first game as a full-fledged NBA player was against the Los Angeles Lakers. He scored two points and recorded one assist in a 132-114 win for his team.

After the Blazers refused to pick up the player for his second stint, Seth Curry returned to the Mavericks. He signed a four-year contract on July 10, 2019, and became a productive member of the team. He played 64 games for the team in the 2019-20 season, starting 25 of them.

At the Mavericks, he was a more active member of the team, averaging 24.6 minutes per game. More minutes also meant more points for Seth, who ended the season with 12.4 points per game. Over the season, he set a new personal point record with 37 points in a game against the Miami Heat.
